I'll dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really happening.
